2022 GMC Terrain

The three available trims for the 2022 GMC Terrain are the SLE/SLT, AT4, and Denali. Each one has its own distinct details that make it easy to find the right Terrain for you. Available paint colors include Hunter Metallic, Summit White, Marine Metallic, Cayenne Red Tintcoat, Desert Sand Metallic, and Ebony Twilight Metallic.

With the SLE/SLT, you can get 19-inch machined aluminum wheels with gray painted accents. The Elevation Edition of the SLE/SLT has 19-inch gloss-black painted aluminum wheels, a darkened front grille, and black center caps with red GMC lettering. The AT4 trim has its own unique grille and badging with black chrome exterior accents and gloss-black roof rails. With the Denali, you get chrome details and the multidimensional Denali grille.

All three 2022 GMC Terrain trims have the same power under the hood. The 1.5-liter Turbo four-cylinder engine uses direct-injection and variable valve timing. It provides 170 horsepower and 203 pound-feet of torque.

The 2022 GMC Terrain comes standard with all-wheel drive, or you can get front-wheel drive with the SLE/SLT trim. All trims have a nine-speed automatic transmission, an electronic stability control system with traction control, and hill descent control. While the SLE/SLT and AT4 trims have 4-link rear suspension and MacPherson front suspension, the Denali trim has its own premium suspension with enhanced shock control. Every trim has a max conventional trailering capacity of 1,500 pounds.

With room for up to five passengers and 63.3 cubic feet of max cargo volume, the 2022 GMC Terrain is roomy enough for almost any job or adventure. You can stay comfortable with standard dual-zone automatic climate control and heated driver and front passenger seats with lumbar control. Three standard power outlets, two 12-volt and one 110-volt, and four USB ports can keep all of your devices charged on long drives.

The GMC Infotainment System includes Bluetooth streaming capability and integration with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. You can enjoy all that music with the six-speaker audio system standard to the SLE/SLT and AT4 or the Bose premium seven-speaker audio system that comes standard with the Denali trim.

Enjoy the stylish aesthetic details inside your Terrain. The SLE/SLT features real aluminum trim, while the AT4's leather seat trim has the AT4 logo. The Denali goes all out with French-stitched leather-appointed front seats with decorative stitching and real burnished aluminum accents.

Standard safety features on all 2022 GMC Terrain trims include a following distance indicator, forward collision alert, and front pedestrian breaking. The HD rear vision camera is standard, with an option for an HD surround vision system that uses multiple cameras to display a digital overhead image of the area around your Terrain. Lane keep assist with lane departure warning is standard on all trims, with lane change alert standard on the Denali and available on the SLE/SLT and AT4 trims.
