2023 Buick Enclave
The Buick Enclave is a standout in the mid-size SUV market with its luxury interior and refined ride. The cabin is sleek and comfortable and comes equipped with a long list of standard features. For the 2023 model year, there are just minor changes to the Enclave. Trim Levels
The Enclave comes in just three trim levels. The entry-level Essence has a foot-activated hands-free liftgate, automated LED headlights, 18-inch alloy wheels, and keyless entry. It also has heated and power-adjustable side mirrors, an auto-dimming driver's side mirror, and roof rails. The Premium adds power-folding side mirrors, and the Avenir builds on the Premium with 20-inch wheels and a two-panel moonroof. It also comes with a rear power sunshade and the option for the Avenir Technology package with advanced LED headlights.
The optional Sport Touring Package for the Essense adds 20-inch wheels and molded side steps. There's also a Sport Touring ST Edition with gloss-black 20-inch wheels, a sport grille, and ST badging.
Engine
Under the Enclave's hood, you'll find a 3.6-liter V-6 gas engine that puts out 310 horsepower. It works with either front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive and uses a nine-speed automatic transmission.
Performance
You can't beat the ride in the Enclave. It stays smooth and quiet over any road, and it's easy to handle and maneuver. The quiet ride is the result of Buick's Quiet Tuning system with active noise cancelation and acoustic glass on the windshield. The V-6 engine has plenty of power for this SUV and will propel it up to 60 mph in just 6.5 seconds. When equipped, it can tow up to 5,000 pounds.
Interior
There's room for seven in the Enclave. It has comfortable second-row captain's chairs and a 60/40 split bench seat in the third row. The base Enclave Essence comes equipped with many features you usually find in higher trims. It has heated front seats, power-adjustable front seats, leather upholstery, and three-zone climate control. The Premium and Avenir add heated second-row seats, ventilated front seats, a power tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, and driver's seat memory settings.
Technology in the Enclave includes an 8-inch touch screen, wireless charging, a Wi-Fi hotspot, and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. If you step up to the Premium, you'll add to this with a 10-speaker Bose stereo and a household-style power outlet, navigation, and an 8-inch color information display in front of the driver. The Avenir has all this and a 120-volt power outlet.
Safety Features
All 2023 Enclave models have Buick's Driver Confidence Package Plus. This bundle includes forward collision warning, automatic braking, pedestrian detection, a blind-spot monitor, rear cross-traffic alert, and lane-keep assist. It also comes with rear parking sensors, a following distance indicator, and lane-departure warning. The Premium adds a surround-view camera and a digital rearview mirror, and the Avenir comes with adaptive cruise control.
