2023 Chevrolet Equinox

Four trims are offered for the 2023 Chevrolet Equinox: LS, LT, RS, and Premier. Starting with the LS, you'll find features such as solar-absorbing tinted glass, 17-inch wheels, LED headlights, power-adjustable heated outside mirrors, and an acoustic-laminated windshield. Opting for the LT adds body-color mirror caps, bright lower window trim, and deep-tinted rear glass. Additional exterior colors are available: Harvest Bronze, Iron Gray, Radiant Red, and Iridescent Pearl.

Moving up to the RS gets you Black Equinox badging and Chevrolet bowtie emblems along with a blacked-out grille and surround with red RS badging and black roof rails, a programmable power liftgate, 19-inch Dark Android-painted wheels, and LED taillights. Rounding out the exterior features is the top-of-the-line Premier that adds upgrades such as fog lights, integrated turn signals in the outside mirrors, a hands-free power liftgate with Chevrolet emblem projection, 18-inch machined-face wheels, and bright roof rails.

One engine powers all four of the trims for the 2023 Chevy Equinox. That engine is a turbocharged 1.5-liter DOHC four-cylinder engine mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. This engine puts out 175 horsepower and 203 pound-feet of torque while getting an EPA-estimated 31 mpg on the highway.

Chevy has added many performance-enhancing features to maximize the driving experience every time you get behind the wheel of the 2023 Equinox. While front-wheel drive is the standard drive train for all trim levels, an all-wheel-drive system can help you tackle rough terrain and inclement weather. Other standard features include StabiliTrak electronic stability control system with traction control, a front MacPherson strut suspension with rear four-link independent suspension, and a four-wheel antilock brake system.

Once you get inside the cabin of the 2023 Chevrolet Equinox, you'll be surrounded by an interior designed to maximize comfort for drivers and passengers alike. The base LS starts with keyless entry with push-button start, a 7-inch touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a six-speaker audio system, a 12-volt power outlet, SiriusXM, and USB ports. If you opt for the LT, you get an overhead console and a power-adjustable driver's seat with two-way lumbar support.

Moving up to the RS gets you heated front seats, a wrapped steering wheel, and dual-zone automatic climate control. Finally, the upscale Premier adds a heated steering wheel, an 8-inch touchscreen, driver's seat memory settings, and wireless charging.

Nothing matters more than safety, and Chevrolet has many standard and optional safety and driver assistance features on the 2023 Equinox. All trims include the Chevy Safety Assist system that includes front pedestrian braking, a following distance indicator, automatic emergency braking, forward collision alert, lane keep assist with lane departure warning, and IntelliBeam automatic high beams. Optional features include a rear cross-traffic alert, a safety alert seat, and a lane change alert with a side blind zone alert.
