2023 Chevrolet Silverado 2500

Bold and distinctive, the Silverado is conservative on the rear but quite contemporary on the front. It comes in five trim levels: WT, LT, Custom, LTZ, and High Country. All the trim levels but the High Country give you rear-wheel drive as standard and an available four-wheel drive as an option. The Chevrolet Silverado 2500 is also available in three cabin sizes: regular cab, double cab, and crew cab. These cab sizes are available in all the trims but the High Country model, which is only available in the crew cab model. As you go up the trim levels, you get bigger wheels, more infotainment features, and premium upholstery.

The 2023 Silverado comes in two engine options: the 6.6-liter gas-powered V-8 engine that generates 401 horsepower and 464 pound-feet of torque, and an optional turbocharged 6.6-liter V-8 diesel engine that produces 445 horsepower and 910 pound-feet of torque. Equipped with the right trailering equipment, the diesel-powered engine tows up to 36,000 pounds while its gas-powered counterpart tows a maximum of 17,400 pounds. The gas-powered V-8 engine is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission system, while the diesel-powered engine is connected to the smooth 10-speed automatic transmission system.

While most heavy-duty trucks are conservative, the 2023 Chevrolet Silverado has an interior that blends practicality and comfort. Unlike its predecessor, this time the Silverado has a longer wheelbase, providing more space for cargo and passengers. You also get heated and ventilated front seats, a heated steering wheel, and a heads-up display. Various tools including the switchgear are conveniently placed for use and to save space. Also available in higher trims are storage compartments on the back seats. The Silverado also has a multi-flex tailgate system that provides easy access to the cargo bed.

With a surround-view camera capable of 15 views, the Silverado 2500 has a hoard of standard safety features, including trailer-specific assists for safer towing. The 2023 Silverado comes standard with a forward collision warning with automatic braking alert and a following distance indicator system. Also available are safety alert seat, lane change alert with blind zone alert, rear-cross traffic alert, and lane departure warning.
