2023 GMC Acadia

The 2023 Acadia has a large, rectangular grille with horizontal chrome bars and red GMC lettering in the middle. You can select from the SLE, SLT, AT4, or Denali trim levels. Standard features include 17-inch wheels, automatic high beams, fog lights, chrome or black roof rails, tinted glass, a rear windshield wiper, heated power side mirrors with turn signals, and dual exhaust.

You can add 18- or 20-inch wheels, all-terrain tires, assist steps, front and rear splash guards, and a two-panel power sunroof. A hands-free programmable power liftgate, a keypad for keyless entry, and auto-dimming side mirrors are optional as well. Available colors include Summit White, Light Stone Metallic, Ebony Twilight Metallic, Hunter Metallic, Sterling Metallic, Ultra Blue Metallic, White Frost Tricoat, and Volcanic Red Tintcoat.

The 2-liter, turbocharged, four-cylinder engine produces 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. You can also select a 3.6-liter V-6 engine that gives 310 horsepower and 271 pound-feet of torque. Both of these options use a nine-speed automatic transmission.

The Acadia has excellent acceleration and a comfortable, smooth ride. It comes with normal, snow, sport, and trailer/tow driving modes. The V-6 engine can tow up to 4,000 pounds and carry up to 1,846 pounds. With the four-cylinder motor, you can pull up to 3,500 pounds and haul up to 1,476 pounds. Engine start-and-stop technology shuts off the motor when you pause in traffic, letting you conserve fuel while keeping devices such as the radio on.

You can add an engine block heater, a heavy-duty cooling system, an adaptive suspension that adjusts to road conditions every two milliseconds, and all-wheel drive. This SUV gets up to 22 mpg in urban areas and 29 mpg on the highway.

The interior looks refined and luxurious, and it comes with many convenient features. You'll get cruise and audio controls for the leather-wrapped steering wheel, a cabin air filter, SiriusXM satellite radio, a six-speaker audio system, a Wi-Fi hot spot, a 4.2-inch driver information center, and active noise cancelation for a quiet ride. This vehicle also has an 8-inch touch-screen, voice recognition, Apple CarPlay, a compass, Android Auto, and five USB ports.

Additional options include remote start, heated front seats, an eight-way power driver's seat, a universal garage door opener, navigation, and a 120-volt power outlet. You can choose an eight-speaker Bose sound system with a subwoofer as well.

The 2023 GMC Acadia protects you and your passengers with a range of safety features, including front and rear parking assistance, automatic emergency braking, a rearview camera, lane departure warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and lane-keeping assistance.
