2023 GMC Terrain

With C-shaped headlights and a chunky grille, the 2023 Terrain comes in four trim levels: SLE, SLT, AT4, and Denali. As the entry trim, the SLE features a 7.0-inch touchscreen, smartphone integration capability, and cloth upholstery. The SLT trim adds a power tailgate, heated front seats, and a larger infotainment screen. With a front skid plate and bigger wheels, the AT4 is engineered for off-roading, while the Denali is the top-of-the-line trim with luxurious details including LED headlights and a heated steering wheel.

The Terrain comes standard with a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine mated to a nine-speed automatic transmission system. For 2023, the turbocharged engine produces 175 horsepower, which is five more than the previous year. It also gives 203 pound-feet of torque, substantial power for a family crossover. Front-wheel-drive is standard, but all-wheel-drive is optional on the SLE and SLT models. All-wheel-drive is standard on the trail-capable AT4 and the premium Denali trim.

The 2023 Terrain is a combination of robust engineering and intricate design, which gives the Terrain its sleek but efficient performance. Regarding fuel efficiency, the all-wheel-drive registers 25/28 mpg on the city/highway, while the front-wheel-drive powertrain gets an impressive 42/44 mpg city/highway.

Seating five people, the 2023 Terrain's interior is a mix of traditional and modern styling. With ingenious designs such as the push-button gear selector, the cabin is modern. It's also spacious and provides ample legroom and headroom. Cloth upholstery is standard in the base trims while the top range trims feature premium appointments in the cabin including ventilated leather seats.
