The 2024 GMC Terrain: Compact SUV Perfection

Powerful Performance

The new GMC Terrain has a 1.5L Turbo 4-cylinder engine that’s paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission. Drivers can expect 175 horsepower and 203 lb.-ft. of torque from this combination. This engine also has Automatic Stop/Start, which turns your engine off when the Terrain comes to a full stop and restarts it when you let off the brake.

Assistive Safety Package

The 2024 Terrain comes with GMC Pro Safety, a complete safety package that includes a variety of assistive driving features. The following are all part of the standard GMC Pro Safety package:

• Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning

There’s an expanded version of this package called GMC Pro Safety Plus, which features additional assistive driving functions. GMC Pro Safety Plus includes Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert and Rear Cross Traffic. In the SLE, SLT, and AT4 trims, this package includes Rear Park Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, and Safety Alert Seat.

Convenient Exterior Features

The new Terrain has various exterior features that aim to improve the quality of all your adventures, including acoustic laminated glass. The acoustic laminated glass windshield helps dampen traffic noises, creating a quieter cabin environment. Automatic on/off headlamps adjust according to your surroundings.

Heated power outside mirrors prevent your mirrors from fogging over in murky conditions, while deep-tinted rear glass windows give your passengers more privacy and block out excess light. The Terrain’s 17-inch all-season blackwall tires and silver-painted aluminum wheels are designed to take on different terrains with ease.

Luxurious Interior Elements

Inside the 2024 Terrain, you’ll find a 4.2-inch diagonal multicolor driver information screen that displays your mileage, speed, fuel consumption, and engine warnings. The 6-speaker audio system amplifies your music, podcasts, and audiobooks with perfect clarity. Bluetooth audio streaming allows you to make hands-free phone calls when your phone is paired with the Terrain’s Infotainment system.

The GMC Terrain has seating for up to five passengers, with a fold-flat rear seat and 60/40 split for accommodating more cargo. The front bucket seats have 4-way manual controls for both the driver and front passenger. All seats in the SLE base model have premium cloth seat trim and both front seats have a heating option in the SLT and all higher trims.
