Those looking to upgrade to the luxurious 2021 Buick Enclave will have a few options at their disposal when it comes to trim levels and configurations. The luxury SUV features four trim levels as well as options for front-wheel and all-wheel drive. Taking a test drive of this exciting model can give you a good sense of what the Enclave has to offer. Let’s take a quick look at the trim levels of the new Enclave.

Preferred

The base trim level on the 2021 Buick Enclave is the Preferred. This trim includes 18-inch painted aluminum alloy wheels that are lightweight and easier to change or rotate than their steel counterparts. The base trim also includes a full-size steel spare wheel. Other exterior features include chrome strips on body-colored door handles and deep tinted windows. A hands-free liftgate that offers easy entrance to the cargo compartment is standard in addition to heated side mirrors to help prevent snow and ice buildup in the winter. The side mirrors are also equipped with turn-signal indicators for added safety.

The interior includes plenty of great features despite being the base trim level in the lineup. In terms of entertainment, the Buick is fully equipped. The SUV can create a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hot spot that lets all the passengers have internet access, without using data from their cell plan, as well as Bluetooth connectivity, Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay.

All trims are equipped with the same engine and transmission configuration. It’s a 3.6-liter V-6 engine with an output of 310 horsepower. The Preferred trim is only available with front-wheel drive, while the remaining trims are available with either front-wheel or all-wheel drive.

Essence and Premium

Higher trim levels available on the 2021 Buick Enclave are the Essence and Premium trims. These middle options are equipped with many of the same great standard features as the Preferred. Additional features include an upgrade to 20-inch wheels. The Premium trim, which is higher than the Essence, adds the most standard features, including Buick Intellibeam, an advanced safety package, and power-folding heated side mirrors.

Drivers looking to tow something with their new Enclave will want to upgrade to the trailering package, which allows for up to 5,000 pounds of towing. This package is not available on the base trim level. The Premium trim also offers more interior features than the Essence, including a heated steering wheel and Bose 10-speaker sound system, with both standard.

Avenir

The Avenir is the highest available trim level on several Buick models, including the 2021 Enclave. Exterior changes to this trim level include 20-inch pearl nickel aluminum wheels. This trim level includes the Avenir visual package that adds chestnut or ebony interiors, a front door badge, wood accents on the steering wheel, and a wireless charging station. The Avenir trim is available in five colors. Available premium packages only available on the Avenir include a suspension upgrade and an advanced safety package.

The four trim levels on the 2021 Buick Enclave offer a wide range of features that are sure to please any driver. Be sure to look out for more information or stop in for a test drive today.
