For 2021, the Buick Envision has been fully redesigned with a stylish new look, more standard tech features, and a new turbocharged engine. The Envision offers an enjoyable driving experience and a quiet, composed ride. It’s now available in Preferred, Essence, and Avenir trim levels, each with increasing levels of luxury and equipment. Here we’ll take a look at the Envision’s impressive upgrades and features.

New Head-Turning Appearance

The 2021 Buick Envision has an even more elegant appearance. With its larger grille, slimmer lights, deep air intakes, and its lower and wider stance, it creates an aggressive, yet sophisticated road presence that’s sure to get you noticed.

Going with the Preferred trim gets you 18-inch aluminum wheels, LED headlights, distinctive LED daytime running lights, heated power mirrors, silver roof rails, and LED taillights. The Essence adds memory mirrors and a hands-free power liftgate with logo projection, while the Avenir offers 20-inch wheels.

Improved Economy and Performance

The Envision is now powered by a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that delivers 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. It’s mated to an electronically controlled nine-speed automatic transmission with overdrive and driver shift control. The engine features stop/start technology that can be deactivated at the touch of a switch if you prefer not to use it. You’ll now get up to 24 mpg for city driving and 31 mpg on the highway.

A smooth, confident ride is ensured by the Envision’s advanced suspension, which optimizes ride and handling. The available continuous damping control helps to enhance your driving pleasure even more. Front-wheel drive is standard, while the available intelligent all-wheel drive with active twin clutch optimizes the traction to each wheel for confident handling in slippery conditions.

Luxuriously Appointed Interior

In the Envision’s spacious cabin, you’ll find yourself enveloped by premium materials, fine craftsmanship, and state-of-the-art technology. Rear passengers get more headroom and legroom and there’s 25.2 cubic feet of luggage space behind the second-row seats. With the rear seats folded, you get a generous 52.7-cubic-foot cargo area.

Preferred models offer ambient lighting, power-adjustable front seats, cruise control, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a tilt and telescoping steering column. The latest Buick infotainment system includes a larger 8-inch touch screen and wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability.

The Essence trim features heated front seats and steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control, an 8-inch cluster display, and a 10.2-inch infotainment touch-screen display. The Avenir adds a massaging driver’s seat, heated rear seats, a head-up display, navigation, HD surround vision, and wireless charging.
