The Chevy Trailblazer is all-new for the 2021 model year. With a redesigned exterior, increased cabin room, improved infotainment, and advanced safety features, the Trailblazer is the family-friendly SUV you have been waiting for. Here are four reasons to check out the new Chevy Trailblazer.

  1. Stylish Exterior

The 2021 Trailblazer has a new sporty look inspired by the Chevy Blazer and Camaro. Four new exterior colors are available for 2021, including Pewter Metallic, Iron Gray, Cayenne Orange, and Cherry Red Tintcoat. The ACTIV and RS models are also available with a two-tone color scheme that pairs any body color with a black or white roof.

Other exterior features include roof rails and fog lights. The standard 16-inch wheels can be replaced with one of several 17-inch wheel options.

  1. Roomier, More Comfortable Cabin

The Trailblazer cabin can seat five comfortably. The rear seats have ample legroom, and headroom is generous throughout. Cloth upholstery is standard, with available vegan leather and heated front seats. A hands-free liftgate and panoramic sunroof are also available.

Even with all seats occupied, the cargo area provides an impressive 25 cubic feet of storage. A cargo floor liner, cover, and organizer are available options. The second row of seats is a 40/60 split-folding bench. Both the second row and front passenger seat fold forward to provide a maximum cargo volume of 54.4 cubic feet. Folding the front passenger seat forward also allows you to carry items up to 8.5 feet long.

  1. Modern Infotainment Features

Many modern infotainment features are standard on the 2021 Trailblazer. The Chevrolet Infotainment 3 System is standard on all trim packages. This system includes a large color touch-screen display, Bluetooth connectivity for two active devices, voice command, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, hands-free phone, a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hot spot, and USB ports. Controls for the audio system, phone, and Driver Information Center are placed conveniently on the steering wheel.

  1. Advanced Safety Features

The Chevy Trailblazer offers more standard safety features than ever before. Every trim includes a suite of 10 advance air bags, including knee air bags for those seated in the front row. Child safety locks, LATCH in the second row, and LED daytime running lights are also standard. OnStar and Chevrolet Connected Services are included with every Trailblazer.

Owners with inexperienced drivers behind the wheel will appreciate the Trailblazer’s Teen Driver System. Teen Driver allows you to create custom vehicle settings that encourage safe driving habits. The system also provides an in-vehicle report card after your teen returns home.

Every trim package includes the Chevy Safety Assist suite of features. Safety Assist includes automatic emergency braking, forward collision alert, front pedestrian braking, a following distance indicator, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, Intellibeam automatic high beams, and a rearview camera.

Optional safety features include blind-zone monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, rear park assist, HD rearview camera, adaptive cruise control, and wireless charging.
