You’ve decided on the 2021 GMC Acadia because you love the looks of this attention-demanding midsize SUV that fits your family perfectly, and now it’s time to pick a trim. Each of the trim levels of the Acadia is amazing, packed with technology and driver-assistance features as well as comfort and style. Depending on your needs and the bells and whistles you seek, one trim level will fit best. So, it’s time to ask yourself which to get: 2021 Acadia Standard, AT4, or Denali?

2021 Acadia Standard Trims

Three standard trims are available for the 2021 Acadia: SL, SLE, and SLT. The Acadia offers an estimated 22 mpg city and 29 mpg highway, letting you spend more time on the road and less time at the pump. Enjoy the OnStar connected services with an onboard Wi-Fi hot spot and five USB ports on all three trims.

The SLE has a second-row bench seat with room for seven, whereas the SLE has second-row captain’s chairs offering seating for six. The SL and SLE come with a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that’s paired to a nine-speed automatic transmission and produces 193 horsepower. You also get keyless ignition and entry, an 8-inch touch-screen infotainment system with Apple Car Play and Android Auto, and a six-speaker audio system. Driver-assistance features include a blind-spot monitor and rear cross-traffic alert.

Moving up to the SLT adds a hands-free power liftgate, remote ignition, leather upholstery, heated front seats, and a navigation system. It also has forward collision mitigation, lane-keeping assist, and automatic high beams. You also get a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that delivers 230 horsepower and is paired to a nine-speed automatic transmission.

2021 Acadia AT4

If you’re interested in off-road adventures, the 2021 Acadia AT4 is the trim for you. You get a 3.6-liter V-6, paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission, that makes 310 horsepower. With an even bigger engine, your towing capacity goes from 1,000 pounds to 4,000 pounds in the AT4. Your AT4 comes with all-terrain tires and standard all-wheel drive with unique components creating greater traction. You also get hill descent control and hill hold assist so that you can tackle any incline with confidence and ease. The AT4 is ready for any adventure you have in mind.

2021 Acadia Denali

For a luxurious Acadia experience, you’ll want to go with the 2021 Acadia Denali trim, featuring the 3.6-liter V-6 and nine-speed automatic. On this top-of-the-line trim, you get power-folding heated outside side mirrors, a digital instrument panel, and a head-up display. You’ll enjoy heated and ventilated front seats, heated second-row seats, and driver-seat memory functions. A wireless charging pad will keep your devices charged with ease.

The Denali also offers two exclusive packages, the Technology and the Denali Ultimate with Technology packages. With the Technology package, you get a surround-view camera system, adaptive cruise control, enhanced automatic braking, and a digital rearview mirror. The Denali Ultimate upgrades you to a sunroof, a tow package, and adaptive suspension dampers to improve the ride.

No matter which trim level of the Acadia you decide to go with, you’ll enjoy the ride. From comfort to technology, the Acadia checks off all the boxes for you in a midsize SUV.
